Sherbourne and Gerrard Urban Farm Build Day

On May 7th from 10am - 5pm we will be installing a 1500 milk crate farm on the vacant lot at 307 Sherbourne St (the south east corner of Sherbourne and Gerrard).

We will be unpacking and moving the crates into our design (thank you Bryce from DTAH), stapling the landscape fabric liners into 750 crates, filling those 750 lined crates with organic soil (provided by Gro-Bark) and moving those filled crates.  We hope to also do some planting on that day - seeding any direct sow edibles which can withstand the frost (kale, peas,  beans, lettuce, chard...)

We will be providing snacks for our active volunteers
